Celzeus
Celzeus is a stunning chestnut sabino, pure Polish stallion bred by Marsha Parkinson of Canterbury Farm. Foaled in 2001, Celzeus is sired by Marsha's imported stallion Goliat (Eukaliptus x Gildia by El Paso) and is out of European Supreme Champion mare Candela (Etap x Capella by Aquinor). Candela represents a rare heritage, as Etap only sired 11 daughters including Candela. Celzeus is the only known son of Candela producing in the United States today. Celzeus is a very athletic, substantial stallion with correct conformation and an excellent disposition. His foals are stamped with his great temperament, huge shoulder and hip, and amazing agility.
Aside from his wonderful temperament and flashy appearance, Celzeus' quality extends beyond these attributes. In 2005, Celzeus became a hero when he saved me from certain death when I was attacked by another stallion. Read the incredible story in our blog!
Celzeus participated in his first Arabian show in May 2016 at the Diablo Arabian Horse Association's Spring Show. He was shown Sport Horse In-Hand and took home a sixth place ribbon. It was a last minute decision to enter him in the show, and he was not in show condition by any means, but he did very well, considering.
Celzeus will be available at public stud for the remainder of the 2020 breeding season, and we are currently accepting early bookings for the 2021 breeding season with a special, early booking discount!
